Women’s History Month: 6 Women in PR Shaping the Industry Through ‘Heard on the Streets’
Sunday marked the beginning of a celebration of women trailblazers that happens every year, and never feels redundant.
Women are being honored in several nations around the globe, including the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, during Women’s History Month for their contributions to history and society.
Many countries, including China and Europe, observe International Women’s Day on March 8, recognizing women’s social, economic and cultural achievements through events and celebrations.
We’re also giving women their flowers, from small women-owned PR firms and businesses to the communicators who unequivocally add value and perspective to the stories told in the media.
It’s important to underscore their many contributions to the evolving PR industry and to society overall. While there has been significant progress, the push for gender equality continues.
At EIN Presswire, we take a look back at the women featured in our “Heard on the Streets” ongoing series on Substack — leaders, founders and communicators whose voices continue to shape the industry.
